Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been spotted enjoying a short break in Ibiza following his side’s Premier League title win—his first in charge of the club.
Slot, who succeeded Jurgen Klopp last summer, made history by becoming only the second Liverpool boss to win the Premier League since its modern formation. His side clinched the club’s 20th top-flight title with a commanding victory over Tottenham two weeks ago. Slot quickly won over the Anfield faithful, leading the title celebrations at the stadium and even joining in chants for Klopp, as supporters serenaded him with a song of his own.
On Monday, Slot was seen soaking up the sun in Ibiza, where he was welcomed to a beach bar with Queen’s “We Are the Champions” playing and women holding up cards spelling out “Champions!”
Among those who captured the moment was EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney, who posted a video of Slot mingling with guests, enjoying drinks, and soaking in the celebratory atmosphere. Gaffney cheekily captioned the video: “Eagle-eyed viewers will spot a certain Premiership-winning manager,” accompanied by emojis.
The venue appeared to be the well-known O Beach club, owned by Wayne Lineker—brother of Match of the Day host Gary Lineker. Wayne later shared a photo of himself kissing Slot on the cheek, captioned: “Caption this #YNWA,” along with heart and clap emojis.
Initially reserved, Slot eventually joined in the fun. As Liverpool’s unofficial anthem “Freed From Desire” played, he made his way to the DJ booth as a VIP, posed for photos with fans, and began singing and dancing to the tune that has accompanied many of the club’s recent triumphs.
While their manager celebrated in Ibiza, the Liverpool squad reportedly traveled to Dubai for a short break ahead of their final two Premier League matches against Brighton and Crystal Palace. The Reds recently drew 2-2 with Arsenal at the Emirates.
Slot’s light-hearted celebration marks a joyful chapter in what has already been a remarkable debut season for the 46-year-old at Anfield—cementing his place in the hearts of Liverpool fans and in the club’s storied history.
