In preparation for his comeback to the court after the passing of close friend Kobe Bryant, LeBron James worked out outside on Wednesday.

In recognition of the passing of franchise icon Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, James and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates were granted Monday off.

After Bryant’s untimely death, the NBA canceled Tuesday’s game between the Lakers and their bitter rivals, the Clippers.

On Wednesday, LeBron James was photographed working out outside with the Los Angeles Lakers.

As he exercises with teammate Anthony Davis, LeBron tosses a medicine ball into the air.
