Joshua Kimmich ‘not keen on Arsenal move’ but Bayern Munich star ‘has a concrete offer’ from elsewhere

Germany captain Joshua Kimmich is reportedly not keen on joining Arsenal on a free transfer this summer.

The 30-year-old midfielder has less than four months remaining on his current contract with Bayern Munich, who have offered him an extension but so far been underwhelmed by his response.

Arsenal have also expressed their interest in the former RB Leipzig man, while Liverpool are also thought to have considered a move.

Kimmich could yet opt to stay at the Allianz Arena but a move to the Emirates Stadium is much less likely, according to BILD.

The German newspaper also claims that Paris Saint-Germain have made Kimmich a concrete offer.

Based on his lack of enthusiasm for Arsenal, it is said that Kimmich effectively has a straight choice right now between Munich and Paris.

Kimmich has been a Bayern player for nigh on a decade, having joined the Bavarian giants from Leipzig in the summer of 2015.

He has played more than 400 games for Bayern and won 20 trophies, including eight Bundesliga titles.

Bayern, PSG and Arsenal are all still in this season’s UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal thrashed PSV Eindhoven 7-1 away from home in the first leg of their round of 16 clash on Tuesday night to all-but secure a place in the quarter-finals.

PSG and Bayern will be in action on Wednesday evening against Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen respectively.
