After a long and exhausting season that saw Liverpool go all the way to the final of the Champions League, it’s little wonder Jurgen Klopp is keen to put his feet up and relax.

The Reds manager and his wife Ulla Sandrock were pictured enjoying the sunshine in Ibiza on their summer holiday.

Klopp is recharging the batteries before Liverpool begin their pre-season preparations and a hectic schedule of friendlies that includes a tour of the United States.

He lounged on a beach with views of the island of Es Vedra on the southern tip of the island, where temperatures are reliably in the high 20s at the moment.

Those members of the Liverpool squad not involved at the World Cup in Russia report back for pre-season training on Monday.

Their first pre-season friendly is at Chester, just relegated from the National League, on July 7.

From there, they have three more friendlies in the North-West, against Tranmere Rovers on July 11, Bury on July 14 and Blackburn Rovers on July 19.
