Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister has splashed out £3.9million on a new luxury home this summer, as he enters his second season at Anfield.
The midfielder, who is currently competing for Argentina at the Copa America, made the purchase from former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, per the Sun. Now Celtic manager, Rodgers took a £50,000 hit on the home he bought in 2022 while he was still in charge at Leicester City.
The house, based on an exclusive street in Wilmslow, Cheshire, was put up for sale last summer for £4.2m before £200,000 was slashed from the price in January. The 25-year-old Mac Allister, it appears, was able to make an even better deal however.
The Liverpool ace will face a 40-mile commute to make it to Melwood for training under new boss Arne Slot but will enjoy plenty of comfort in his new five-bedroom home. The luxury property also comes with a gym, landscaped gardens and a bar area.
A description of the property notes: “An exceptional double gable-fronted contemporary residence finished to an uncompromising standard located on one of Wilmslow’s most prestigious roads.”
Mac Allister’s impressive house, claimed to have been bought in May, is also home to a ‘beautiful Siematic kitchen & central island’, ‘lavish principle suite & dressing room’ and ‘impressive bathroom suites’.

The Cheshire mansion is also home to CCTV, underfloor heating, air conditioning and elecrtonically operated blinds. That is not to mention the speakers in the ceilings.
There is also said to be planning permission granted for ‘leisure facilities’ to be built within the ground of the property.
Mac Allister will not have been able to spend much time at home since completing the deal however. Shortly after the end of the season, the Argentina international had to join up for international duty in time for the Copa America in the United States.
