Zion Williamson, the star of the New Orleans Pelicans, displayed his brand-new full-back tattoo, but it seems that his body is all that fans are interested in, as he was cruelly made fun of.
Since joining the league in 2019, the star has been subjected to inquiries and charges over his weight, notably from well-known media figures like Stephen A. Smith.
He has occasionally been unable to maintain his best physical condition due to serious injuries, but there have also been many occasions when he has been healthy enough to play but just doesn’t appear to be in it. Given that Williamson is now battling a hamstring problem, this is not one of those occasions.Fans were nonetheless alarmed on Friday when Williamson displayed a huge, recently applied tattoo of a monstrous-looking beast with enormous jaws that covered a significant amount of his back.
Williamson’s tattoo procedure was captured on camera, including the scene where a dish of spaghetti and chicken is set to be served.
However, Zion’s body, which could be regarded as not the most athletic, was ridiculed by fans when he turned to face the camera.
One user on X, formerly Twitter, commented, “It’s kind of disrespectful to the organization ngl to be an athlete and not be in shape.”
“That boy Zion has been eating well while missing those games,” someone else remarked.
‘It’s so over,’ wrote a different user who captured a screenshot of Williamson as he turned to face the camera.
The fantasy sports app’s basketball account It read, ‘Bro allergic to the court.’
Others jumped on the fact that the video had food; one person wrote, ‘Man even has food in his tat video.’ Williamson’s left hamstring issue has kept him out of the last seven NBA games.
“I felt fine when I left the arena,” he told Christian Clark of NOLA.com. No issues. No, nothing. When I woke up the following day and went in for treatment, I said, “I feel more sore here than usual.” After having it examined, I received the wonderful news.
The Pelicans are dealing with six injured players, including other starters like Jose Alvarado and CJ McCollum, so it’s uncertain when he might make a comeback.
