A day after Harden passed Ray Allen of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on the list of all-time three-pointers made, the two three-point shooters, who shared the court during the Los Angeles Clippers’ 102-99 victory over the Golden State Warriors at the Intuit Dome, also embraced on Monday night.

The Warriors star complimented Harden on his accomplishment and gave him a hug before the game began. Harden now trails only Curry in terms of makes from beyond the arc.In the first quarter of Sunday’s victory over the Utah Jazz, Harden dribbled past Allen with a right-wing three-pointer. Following the game, Curry, who was selected in the 2009 NBA draft class along with Harden, provided context for the Clippers star’s accomplishment.

Curry affirmed, “Yeah, it’s special for sure,” He has most likely been anticipating it… None of us entered the league anticipating that it would happen. He’s had an incredible run, and you just give the game your all.”

“As you mentioned, we’ve fought a lot, but the fact that he’s now ranked second in front of two greats that we both admire is enough. We’ll see how far we can both push it because it’s quite unique.

Curry’s Warriors and Harden’s Houston Rockets have faced off in four postseason series, creating a rivalry that has occasionally turned sour. Although Harden expressed his dissatisfaction at losing to Curry’s Warriors every time, he told reporters that he values the “greatness” that the rivalry fostered.

Harden remarked, “I really feel a type of way about him,” “Because they defeated us.” They had a dynasty over there, which is among the greatest dynasties in basketball history, and we had genuine chances to make it to the finals [NBA Finals}] and contend for a title during those golden years when we were competitive.”

“It was difficult for me to move on from him during their three- and four-year relationship. Additionally, I felt like I was doing a lot, which was irritating.
