A nod to San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge adorns the Warriors’ City Edition jersey. After two years in the black-and-gold City Edition jerseys, the Warriors decided to switch things up. The Warriors’ jerseys for this season are navy blue with red stripes. Gold will be used for the jersey number, team name, and player’s name.

Wins over powerhouses have been orchestrated by the Warriors. such as the 2017 NBA Finals champions, the Dallas Mavericks, and the defending champion, Boston Celtics.

The Warriors have Andrew Wiggins’ girlfriend, Mychael Johnson, all pumped up. On November 6, Mychal went to X to share her thoughts after the team’s 118-112 victory over Boston brought their record up to 7-1:

It was a nail-biter of a game, but the Warriors came out on top in that away contest.

Among the many important participants in that match, Wiggins stood out. After a passable offensive game and a tremendous defensive showing against Jayson Tatum, he was the finest two-way player for the Warriors.

Tatum managed just eight points (on 2-of-7 shooting) in the first half against Wiggins’ defense. In the fourth quarter, he made key stops to hold the All-Star to only seven points.

The Warriors’ recent success may be attributed in large part to the 2022 All-Star’s comeback. As a full-time starter, Wiggins has shot 43.7% (including 38.1% from 3-point range) and averaged 14.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. He now plays nightly defense of the other team’s top perimeter players since the Warriors have relied on him more defensively.
