Manchester United strengthen as $65M Leny Yoro returns to training for first time since breaking foot in pre-season

Leny Yoro, the new boy at Manchester United, has taken the next step in his healing from swelling in his foot.

Leny Yoro has taken the next step in his recovery

In July, the 18-year-old broke his metatarsal in a pre-season game against Arsenal.

After that, he had surgery and has been on a recovery program ever since.

Yoro is getting closer and closer to coming back, which makes Erik ten Hag, who is under a lot of pressure, very happy.

He trained on the field at Carrington for the first time since his surgery today.

Last week, the back was also put through his paces in the gym while United’s medical staff watched.

The teenager is now back training on grass

The Red Devils say he has “still plenty of work to do” before he can play in a real game, even though he has improved.

Fans were thrilled when Yoro shared a video of his growth on social media earlier this month.

He put up a video of himself running on a gym track with no gravity and wrote, “On the way back.”

“Signing for a club with the stature and ambition of Manchester United so early in my career is an incredible honor,” he said when he first got to Old Trafford.

“When I first talked to the club, they made a clear plan for how I can grow in Manchester as part of this exciting project. They also cared a lot about me and my family.”
