Paul Pogba welcomed for a remarkable comeback to Manchester United, especially in light of recent comments regarding Cristiano Ronaldo

Louis Saha thinks Paul Pogba will make one more big move, and he says he would love to see the former Manchester United player back at Old Trafford.

The Frenchman, who is 31 years old, is now facing an 18-month doping ban after the Court of Arbitration for Sport lowered an initial four-year ban.

Pogba is still signed with Juventus, but it doesn’t look like he will play for the Italian giants again. He has been linked with a lot of clubs lately, though, as he gets closer to playing again. His ban ends in March 2025, so he has plenty of time to get back on the field.

Even though a third stint with United doesn’t look likely, Saha would love nothing more than for the talented player to play again for the team where he began his career. He is also sure that Pogba still has the skills to perform at a high level, no matter where he plays.

It’s up to Paul Pogba to decide where to go, Saha told Paddy Power. People will remember how special he is if he is given a chance to show off his skills again. I really like him, and he can play in the Champions League and for France. I’ve always been hard on him because having that much ability means you have to do your best. He’s going to be very driven when he gets back.

During his second time at Manchester United, Pogba often fell short of the standards that were expected of him. He played for Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But Saha thinks there are some things that make that less of a problem. For example, he says that other famous players, like Cristiano Ronaldo, have had trouble showing their best form lately for whatever reason. He went on to say, “I would love to see him at Manchester United because they lost Scott McTominay in the middle of the field, which is a loss because he did a lot for the team.”

“If you look at how things went under previous managers and try to figure out what went wrong, you can see that mistakes were made. Letting Pogba go was a sign that things are hard to manage at Manchester United.” Not just Erik ten Hag had trouble with the club’s change; a number of very skilled players did too. It was not going well with Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, or even Marcus Rashford.

“All those things need to stop and hopefully their signings can perform the way they should be performing.”
