As he searches for his next opponent in the ring, heavyweight sensation Anthony Joshua is playing the waiting game.

The Watford player has been spending some well-earned downtime with pals in Miami, and he acknowledges that the idea of a rematch with Dillian Whyte has him salivating.When AJ was photographed walking on the beach and showing off his muscles, he had a sparkle in his eye.

Joshua has more fights coming up, but the continuing drama with Deontay Wilder—who has shocked TV audiences by flaunting his gun collection—continues.

For months, Joshua, 29, has been pursuing a unification fight with Wilder, but there are growing skepticism that the two will ever square off.

Joshua is also anxiously awaiting Whyte and Dereck Chisora’s rematch, which is scheduled for December 22 at London’s O2 Arena. The bout was a barnstormer in 2016.”I am not going out again until April 13 of next year,” he stated in an interview with Sky Sports. Wilder, you know we’re prepared.

However, this is about Chisora-Whyte, not me. I will be there, and I am looking forward to that struggle.

“It’s a blessing to take myself out of training and go and watch these guys go and perform and see it from a different point of view.”

“If I were a betting man?” he went on. Chisora, from north-west London, is my boy, so I want him to win.And I want to box Dillian again, so I want him to win.

“These are my two alternatives if Wilder doesn’t step up by April 13.

“Good luck to Chisora, good luck to Whyte, they’re both relevant wins for me.”
