Following his shocking loss to Daniel Dubois last month, Tyson Fury has stated that he feels “sorry” for Anthony Joshua.

When Joshua faced his fellow Brit at Wembley on September 21, he was hoping to win the title three times, but he was beaten in the first round and was unable to bounce back.

The former Olympian is currently attempting to salvage what remains of his career at the highest level of the sport by pursuing a rematch after the outcome put his future in doubt.Even though he has five losses on his record, he still has possibilities if he is unable to get a second fight against Dubois, such as a possible matchup with Fury.

Additionally, Fury, who was ringside for the fight and has never met Joshua despite the two frequently sparring, has expressed his sadness for his opponent following his defeat. “I feel bad for him right now because he was completely destroyed in round five of his last fight,” Fury said to Sky Sports. Therefore, he will either have to repeat that or not.

“I’ve felt a little depressed after every loss because you do feel depressed when he loses and it’s not to you.” I was sorry for him.

It’s likely that I was the only person on my side of the ring who was depressed. It is depressing to observe.

The two have reportedly been on the verge of fighting several times, and Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has stated that a fight might ultimately happen based on how Fury’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk turns out.

Fury will face the Ukrainian again in December and is in dire need of a victory after losing to Usyk earlier this year for the first time in his career. He hasn’t, however, ruled out a subsequent altercation with Joshua. He replied, “Yeah, I will (fight him).” It doesn’t matter if he has five, ten, or twenty loses. Because it’s all about having good bouts and putting on excellent fights for the paying consumer at this point in our careers.

“For the paying pundit, I still believe it would be an interesting and entertaining fight.”
