The main topic of conversation in the lead-up to Anthony Joshua’s bout with Oleksandr Usyk has been his body.

AJ seems to have’slimmed down’ considerably before his most recent fight on Saturday night, according to numerous fans and commentators.Joshua looked much bulkier back in March (see left image above) than he does now (see right image above).

It’s true that a lot has changed in those six months.

All of the talk around AJ in the spring of this year was about his uncontested fight with Tyson Fury on August 14 in Saudi Arabia.

After meeting the 6′ 9″ and 273-pound (19st 7-pound) Fury, Joshua appeared to decide to maintain a larger frame.

However, everything fell apart on October 9 when Fury was forced to fight Deontay Wilder a third time after Wilder’s arbitration victory, which was broadcast live on talkSPORT.Joshua is now battling the much smaller Usyk as a result.

However, it should be mentioned that the Ukrainian has undergone an intriguing physical change in recent months.

The former cruiserweight champion defeated Derek Chisora by majority decision last October, weighing 217¼lbs (15st 7lbs).

He recently revealed that he weighed 230 pounds, suggesting that he has been bulking up once more.

Now, the bulked-up physical makeover is complete in his most recent workout shot.
