It’s no secret that Zendaya and her parents get along well. Despite having several homes of her own, the internationally renowned actress (“Euphoria,” “Dune,” the “Spider-Man” franchise) was still residing with either her mother Claire Stoermer or her divorced father Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, an Oakland native; the two are still close “homies,” according to Zendaya.
According to records, the 26-year-old has joined A-list celebrities The Rock, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Beyoncé in purchasing residences for their parents, spending $1.9 mιllιon on a house that would be occupied by her father. The grand residence is hidden away in the West Hills district of the San Fernando Valley, close to Woodland Hills and Calabasas, in the far-flung suburbs of Los Angeles.
The two-story home, which was constructed in the 1990s, last traded hands for $1.1 mιllιon in 2008, after which renovations were made. The main level of the house has new hardwood floors and a double-height lobby with walls painted a light periwinkle color.
The formal dining room features French doors leading directly to the pool area, while the living and family rooms each have their own fireplaces. The completely remodeled kitchen, which has eat-in bar seating and is connected to the family area, is distinguished by white quartz counters and dark brown cabinets.
Five bedrooms, including two on the ground floor and three upstairs, are dispersed across the about 3,400 square foot building. The upstairs master retreat features a devoted sitting space, a luxuriously refurbished bathroom, and a private terrace with views of the mountains and city lights. One of the downstairs rooms is now set up as an office.
