Prior to their preseason matchup with the Detroit Pistons, Devin Booker, a star player for the Phoenix Suns, unveiled a special edition pair of Nike Book 1. As the Suns and Pistons square off in an exhibition match at Michigan State University’s Breslin Center, Booker is back home.

Booker gave a pair of the limited-edition Michigan State Spartans Nike Book 1 PE shoes to every player on the team. The coaching staff was also given a set, so the four-time All-Star didn’t forget about them. Before the preseason game, the Suns star visited with Tom Izzo, their head coach.

Before the game, Booker relished his return to his native Michigan. Still, he’s not the only Suns player who feels comfortable in the state. Mat Ishbia, the owner of the Phoenix team, is a native of the same state and went to Michigan State University from 1999 and 2002.
