When Shaquille O’Neal left his NBA Finals duties on Tuesday night to have dinner with social media celebrity Brittany Renner, he created a lot of buzz online.

A source told TMZ that the two went to dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles and that it was “nothing more than two friends catching up.”

O’Neal chose to wear jeans, sneakers, and a zip-up sweatshirt, while Renner was spotted wearing a white dress and carrying a bright orange purse.

According to TMZ, the two arrived at 6:00 p.m. local time, had dinner together, and left at 8:00 p.m.

The two’s leaked video and pictures set the internet on fire, but TMZ was informed that ‘there was nothing romantic going on’ between them. O’Neal was in Colorado recently to watch the Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat NBA Finals in 2023 on NBA TV.

Through previous relationships, O’Neal and Renner are both parents to children. Renner and Charlotte Hornets player PJ Washington are parents to a child.In the meantime, Shaq and his ex-wife Shaunie O’Neal, whom he wed in 2002 and divorced from in 2011, have four kids together.

In an April podcast, O’Neal admitted that he “messed up” and that’s why his marriage failed. He told “The Pivot Pocast”

“I was just being avaricious,” he said on the program. “I was in the ideal circumstance.” My wife continued to be my baby mama and was much more wonderful than a cup.

“I know I messed up, but I had it all, and I don’t make excuses.”
