Floyd Mayweather has invested a whopping seventy-five thousand pounds to finish his collection of high-end timepieces.
After ending his professional boxing career in 2017, Mayweather continued to make a sizable profit from exhibition bouts. During his professional fighting career, he is reported to have earned £900 million ($1.2 billion). With an estimated £336 million in net worth, the 47-year-old has made some outrageous acquisitions.
This includes real estate, which he just sold for $22.5 million, a collection of watches, and a £20 million automobile collection.
And now he’s expanded his collection with a gorgeous set of four Avi and Co. watches adorned with gemstones.
The four watches—all from the Hue Collection—are available in the following four hues: pink, green, red, and blue.According to reports, each watch cost $250,000, which “Money” Mayweather was unable to refuse at retail.
He is now the only individual in the world to hold the entire collection; the watches were previously housed in a limited-edition winder-display box in New York.
Established in 2009, Avi and Co. consistently provides their celebrity-filled clients with high-end accessories.
“When the craftsmanship at @aviandco is this impeccable, choosing just one watch wasn’t an option… so I bought all four from the exclusive ‘Hue Collection,'” Mayweather wrote on Instagram after making his purchase. This is the kind of quality that can only be obtained from a jeweler who is open around-the-clock and whose assistance is just as valuable as their jewelry.
“A particular thank you to @Forbes for always highlighting others and me in such a positive light—always a class act.”The Hue collection hits hard,” he continued.
“I am asked about my Avi & Co. watches all the time. It seems natural to me.”
According to Forbes, Mayweather already possessed seven of the timepieces.
He is one of my closest friends, according to designer Avi Hiaeve. We have a long history of commercial dealings together and support one another socially and personally.
“We discuss other topics. He has consistently stood with me.”
In his most recent exhibition fight, which took place in a rematch with John Gotti III last month, Mayweather made an appearance to AXE the referee mid-fight.
