The Los Angeles Lakers have had a turbulent season thus far, with their superstar players appearing unable to gel. Despite Lebron James having yet another absurd season in terms of his individual stats, they find themselves in an unlikely battle for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

How can basketball’s biggest star relax and let go after the rigors and strains of the NBA schedule? James and the Lakers have been subjected to a great deal of criticism this season. It turns out, very much like the rest of us do.

Following the Lakers’ victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, James declared, “I could care less about what the narrative about our team is.”

 

 

 

 

At this stage of my work, I avoid dealing with that kind of stuff. I don’t hear or read about it very often. Every night I go home, have a glass of wine or tequila, and play Madden or watch a movie with the kids at my Los Angeles house.

“I get frustrated and angry about losses and things we could have done better and things of that kind, like I said the other night, but once I leave the court, that’s where I leave it.”
