Anthony Joshua Says Who He Thinks Will Win The Rematch Between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk

Anthony Joshua will be watching Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch closely.

The British fighter has famously squared off against Usyk twice. The first occasion was in 2021 in London, when he challenged the previous undisputed cruiserweight champion for three of the four main world belts.

Joshua had a challenging evening that resulted in a defeat via points following the 12-round fight. “AJ” immediately entered a rematch in Saudi Arabia in 2022, and the outcome was the same.

Since then, Usyk has defended his titles against Fury in the thrilling undisputed match back in May. Joshua will take on Daniel Dubois this weekend in an attempt to win the IBF title that the Ukrainian left behind.

Joshua has now told to Sky Sports that he would be eager to fight either man, but that he is focusing on taking care of his own business with Dubois first. Usyk and Fury square off again in December.

“I’m 100% up for fighting them if they call me.” That’s what I do. Battle. I’ll be prepared. It will be an honor to battle the two of them. I’m not paying attention to Fury and Usyk. I am going to watch it. Permit me to get beyond Dubois. We’ll see.

Then he came clean and said he wanted Usyk to win once more.

“I think Usyk prevails, and I prefer Usyk to win.”

If Joshua prevails in his own match against Dubois, all eyes will be on Saudi Arabia in December to see who he would face in a rematch in 2025.
