Mike Tyson’s third wife, Lakiha Spicer, whom he met when she was eighteen years old, is his wife since 2009.
In June 2022, Tyson, who will be 56 years old, was warned by promoter Don King to “stay away from her” when he saw Spicer, who is now 44 years old, during one of Tyson’s fights, as reported by The Sun.
“It was like moth to a flame,” Spicer admitted to The Post in 2012.
But their partnership was not without its difficulties; in 2008, Spicer was convicted of fraud and sentenced to prison. Just one week before to starting her sentence, she found out she was expecting Tyson’s child. After Spicer’s six-month prison sentence ended, she reunited with her addicted husband Tyson and gave birth soon after her release. Interacting with Spicer, according to Tyson, was “a life-saving experience.”
Since Tyson’s third marriage, Spicer’s first was in 2009 when the two tied the knot. Eight months after their February 1988 wedding, actress Robin Givens filed for a divorce from him, citing violence as the reason. The years 1997–2003 were Tyson and Monica Turner’s marriage.
The couple’s offspring include a daughter, Milan, who is fourteen years old, and a son, Morocco, who was born in January of 2011 and is eleven years old.
Even though Tyson and Spicer will celebrate 13 years of marriage in June 2022, the boxer was caught on camera punching a fellow passenger multiple times in April, which put him in the middle of an aircraft dispute.
The altercation reportedly occurred after Tyson, who TMZ claims had previously interacted with the passenger, became increasingly upset when the fellow traveler, who allegedly has a lengthy criminal record, refused to leave him alone.
The passenger allegedly hurled a water bottle at Tyson, according to his representatives.
