This supercar is fit for the most famous person in the world.
The Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster was delivered to Michael Jordan.
Built in Texas, this mid-engine behemoth has an incredible 1,817 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
During testing, a hardtop coupe variant of the F5 was recorded achieving 271.6 mph. This roadster shares the same carbon fiber chassis and bodywork as the coupe, but it has a roof panel that can be removed.
A translucent engine cover made of fighter jet glass that can endure 1,000 degrees and the air pressure generated at the car’s desired top speed is also a feature.
With a starting price of $3 million per vehicle, Hennessey will only produce 30 roadsters after selling all 24 coupes.
That was a memorable day. “It was my privilege to construct a unique Venom F5 for a dear friend,” Hennessey Performance owner John Hennessey stated in a Facebook post alongside a photo of himself personally presenting the vehicle. In addition to the usual assortment of high-performance vehicles one would expect from an NBA legend, he shares ownership of the 23XI Racing NASCAR Cup Series team that fields cars for Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick. This season, Reddick has already won once, and Wallace placed second in the All-Star Race.On the other hand, their vehicles are capable of speeds of up to 200 mph, so perhaps their boss will treat them to a thrilling trip in his brand-new vehicle at some point.
