A Black Country gardener has gone above and beyond to show his support for England football hero Jude Bellingham. Bryn Nicholls, a 66-year-old resident of Stourbridge, Bellingham’s hometown, has transformed his front lawn into a giant replica of the player’s number 10 shirt.
Nicholls, a devoted follower of the England team, spent hours meticulously painting his lawn red, white, and blue. “It took a while to paint the grass, but it was worth the effort,” he jokes. “Jude Bellingham is one of our own, and we’re all incredibly proud of him. We hope he can help England win the Euros!”
This isn’t the first time Nicholls has used his lawn as a canvas for national pride. In 2022, he created a massive Union Jack flag with a crown for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. He also painted the Olympic rings to celebrate the 2012 London Games.
