The English team put on another lackluster display on Tuesday night as they were thwarted by a resilient Slovenian defense that put up a fierce fight to deny Harry Kane and company a goal. Bellingham looked to be running out of gas, especially as the contest went on, and they lacked the cutting edge in attack that England was sorely lacking.

Get Jude Bellingham off the field, wrote an English fan named @InvertTheWing, in response to Bellingham’s criticism. This performance is utterly repulsive and sloppy. What a shame to the nation. You are representing the people of the country, not your club or yourself, by playing.”

 

 

One person was a little more cynical than the other, @SxrgioSZN, who wrote: “No England player shouted VAMOS more times than Bellingham vs. Slovenia (8) Generational 👏🏼.”

 

 

As for the England vs. Slovenia match, @wembley_13 tweeted: “🚨BREAKING: UEFA has decided not to give motm award because they were all sh*t.”

In contrast, @Cruise_Travel63 wrote, “Utter s*ite,” as an outlet for his annoyance. We’d be kicked out of any other group. Scotland, Denmark, Serbia, and Slovenia are all worse than us; now, see who else we still need to defeat. Completely s*ite and heading home shortly.”
