Steph Curry Shares Sweet Post for 12th Anniversary with Wife Ayesha: ‘Love You More Than You Know’

Celebrating a decade of marital bliss, Ayesha Curry, the 32-year-old actress and cookbook author, took to Instagram to pour her heart out in a touching tribute to her NBA player husband, Stephen Curry. Accompanied by a carousel of cherished photos, she reminisced about the whirlwind of moments since their very first wedding day.

“My love! my adventure partner! My best friend! My confidant! My baby daddaaaay! My everything! 10 years married y’all ,” Ayesha shared, her words brimming with affection. “It has felt like the blink of an eye. @stephencurry30 is by far, hands down the most amazing being I know.”

Expressing excitement for the journey ahead, she exclaimed, “I can’t wait to see what the next 50 has in store for us. Happy day happy day! We’ve been doing the most celebrating the past couple of days. July 30, 2011 to infinity and beyonnnnnnd.”

Parents to three adorable children—son Canon W. Jack, 3, and daughters Ryan Carson, 6, and Riley, 9—the couple’s bond transcends mere years, having roots that stretch back to their teenage years in North Carolina.

Steph and Ayesha Curry

In a candid revelation to PEOPLE back in December 2020, Ayesha shared a humorous anecdote from the early days of her relationship with Stephen Curry. She recounted how one of their initial meals together, prepared by Stephen, comprised a rather unpalatable combination of “salty cream of wheat, a burnt bagel, burnt eggs, and a garnish of Gushers.”

Despite the less-than-ideal culinary experience, Ayesha affectionately remarked, “He’s gotten much better,” highlighting his evolving culinary skills and newfound “kitchen confidence.”

While Stephen’s expertise lies on the basketball court rather than in the kitchen, Ayesha has cultivated her own impressive culinary empire over the years. In 2017, she ventured into the restaurant scene with the opening of her first establishment, International Smoke, located in San Francisco. Beyond this, the accomplished author of “The Seasoned Life” boasts a Food Network show, a cookware line, and a meal kit delivery service among her myriad achievements.

In April 2020, Ayesha embarked on her latest venture by launching Sweet July, a lifestyle magazine published by Meredith Corp., the parent company of PEOPLE. This magazine, a passion project of Ayesha’s, delves into various topics ranging from family and relationships to a plethora of food content. “This issue has 22 new recipes. It’s like getting a mini cookbook,” Ayesha enthusiastically shared with PEOPLE regarding the debut issue of her magazine.

Reflecting on her journey, Ayesha revealed on the Skimm’d From The Couch podcast in May that her inspiration to share her recipes and start her own blog stemmed from the experience of motherhood. It was the unwavering support of her husband, Stephen Curry, that bolstered her confidence to pursue her culinary dreams.

While relishing her role as a mother, Ayesha confessed to feeling a persistent entrepreneurial urge. “Although I thoroughly enjoyed being a mom,” she shared, “I always felt this weird bug, like this entrepreneurial bug.”

Starting with her blog, Ayesha witnessed her online presence steadily flourish. “It kind of became my career very naturally and organically,” she reflected. “And my husband was like, ‘Hey, I think you can do this.’”

Despite initial trepidation, Ayesha courageously dove into the world of entrepreneurship with Stephen’s encouragement, and it has since blossomed into a fulfilling career she deeply cherishes.
