With 26 threes in a game, Golden State’s was the most the Lakers had ever given up.

The Warriors (44-35) have closed the gap on ninth-place Los Angeles (45-35) to just half a game after winning eight of their last nine games. Golden State also prevailed in the head-to-head tiebreaker between the opposing teams, giving the Warriors homecourt advantage over their final three regular-season games, potentially leading to a 9–10 play-in game next week.

Before suffering back-to-back home losses in the last three days, the Lakers had won eight of their previous nine games. LeBron James led them with 33 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds. Rui Hachimura scored 20 points, Austin Reaves added 22 points, and D’Angelo Russell managed just 14 points on 3-of-11 shooting.
