Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks Lose to the Golden State Warriors to End Their Five-Game Road Trip

The Dallas Mavericks (45-30), who had finished a five-game Western Conference road trip with a 4-1 record, were defeated 104-100 by the Golden State Warriors (40-35) despite a late rally attempt. Before losing at Chase Center, Dallas had won 11 of its previous 12 games and seven of their last twelve games overall.

Mavs star Luka Doncic remarked, “I think it was a great road trip.” “It’s the longest road trip I’ve ever been a part of, especially since we had to fly to Texas and back to California.” Still, I thought the road trip was fantastic. 4-1 away is fantastic.

With his final line of 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists, Doncic tied James Harden for the eighth-most triple-doubles in NBA history during regular season play. It was his second straight month winning the title of Western Conference Player of the Month, which he had received earlier in the day. Doncic commended the Mavs’ present situation despite the setback during the team’s extensive road trip.
