Liverpool almost entered the quarterfinals of the Europa League after a strong 5-1 victory over Sparta Prague. Meanwhile, Leverkusen was sucked to death after a lucky 2-2 draw against Qarabag.
Because Liverpool will have a big battle with Man City this weekend , coach Klopp has left many key figures such as Van Dijk and Salah on the bench for the march to Sparta Praha’s field in the first leg of the 1/8 round of the Europa League.
However, with a squad of many quality players, Liverpool still dominated their opponents after the opening whistle. In the 6th minute, Mac Allister gave Liverpool a penalty. On the 11m mark, this player scored to help The Kop take the lead.
