PGA Reach and the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation of Stephen and Ayesha Curry will host the first Stephen Curry Charity Classic on September 16, 2019, sponsored by Workday.

The event gives Bay Area and beyond youth the resources and chances to play golf and be active. The organizations want to raise $1 million for their philanthropic work.

Stephen Curry will compete in the Stephen Curry Charity Classic at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco with 52 partner, donor, and supporter teams. The Workday Charity Classic promises a diverse golf experience. The skills test will be followed by an 18-hole scramble.

The competition will be a two-person scramble like the PGA Jr. League, PGA Reach’s junior effort. Participants will wear blue or orange numbered uniforms for their draft category. A one-hole shootout with Curry and other special guests will determine the winner of the first competition between the teams with the greatest point totals in each division.

PGA Reach works with Curry’s Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation to give youth, military, and diverse populations access to PGA Professionals, PGA Sections, and golf.

PGA Reach Senior Director Ryan Cannon said, “PGA Reach is immensely hоnored tо cоllaborate with Eat. Learn. Play. in an effоrt tо imprоve the lives оf yоung peоple thrоughоut the Bay Area and the natiоn.” Sport, especially golf, gives children learning, development, and success-oriented opportunities that match their worth. Workday’s help will let us give more people access to the game.”
