Russell blasted a season-high eight three-pointers, five of which came in the third quarter alone, to go along with his 29 points and four assists. Now, five of the 27-year-old’s last seven games have seen him score more than 25 points.

After missing just one game because of a bothersome ankle injury, LeBron James made his way back into the starting lineup against Chicago, but he didn’t exhibit any symptoms of rust. James put up a performance that included 25 points, four rebounds, and 12 assists on the night it was formally confirmed that he would be joining his 20th All-Star team.

The Lakers made 20 out of 31 three-point tries, demonstrating that every player on the club was explosive from beyond the arc.
