GSW Star Chris Paul Spreads Christmas Cheer Among Children in Need With His Family

Chris Paul celebrated the holiday season by providing a gathering on Christmas Eve for 500 children from diverse community organizations in Los Angeles.

The L.A. Clippers captain and nine-time NBA All-Star enjoyed a shopping spree at three Target locations with children from Watts-Willowbrook Boys & Girls Club, L.A.’s Best After School Enrichment Program, the Brotherhood Crusade, and Leaps n Boundz, an organization that provides social, recreational, and adaptive sports programming for individuals with special needs. One hundred gift cards were presented to each child for Christmas purchasing. One rule is to purchаse a minimum of one present for another individual.

In addition to providing funds for the children’s purchasing excursion, four military families were awarded assistance during the process of relocating to permanent housing.

“One of the things I eagerly await each year is this,” said the extraordinarily charitable Paul. “A few of the children do not purchаse any items for themselves.” They will acquire gifts for their parents, siblings, and acquaintances. Having the opportunity to assist military families and spend the day with them is a tremendous privilege.”

Kevin Hart, an actor/comedian and writer/producer, was scheduled to co-host the Chase-sponsored holiday celebrations with Paul. However, a scheduling cоnflict prevented him from attending.

Paul co-chaired the event in support of his Chris Paul Family Foundation, an organization whose mission is to promote equality in education, athletics, and life for the betterment of families and individuals. The foundation furnishes resources that fortify and enhance the robust growth of robust communities. The Chris Paul Family Foundation, an industry leader in philanthropy, will persist in utilizing its platform to effectuate positive change in communities on a national and international scale.
