Being removed from the Warriors’ rotation is something that Jonathan Kuminga discusses

Steve Kerr didn’t initially include Jonathan Kuminga in the Golden State Warriors’ triumph over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday (Dec. 6). Kuminga was left out of the rotation because Kerr gave Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody more playing time.

Kerr added Kuminga to the rotation with the Trail Blazers ahead, and the consequences were instant. The agile forward transformed the game and sparked Golden State’s comeback. After the game, Kuminga discussed being out of the rotation for the night.

“I was just chilling on the bench,” Kuminga said. I was a terrific teammate, boosting my teammates’ enthusiasm and motivating them.Feel like I’m playing well. The team is deep. What will happen is unknown. Just be delighted for everyone performing well, as I did. I liked how Moses, BP, and the others played.”

Kuminga looked better early in the season. He’s playing better defense and offense with some good moments. In 20 games for the Warriors this season, the third-year forward has averaged 11.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and an assist. He shoots 46.8% overall and 25% from 3-point range.
