The Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Houston Rockets on Saturday night in California.  

Anthony Davis led the way for the Lakers with 27 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, and five blocks as they won 107-97. 

LeBron James shot 7/17 from the field to end the game with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.  James posted pictures and videos from the triumph on Instagram after the game.  In less than four hours, there were almost 9,000 comments and almost 640,000 likes. “Old Man Wise still got the game in a chokehold/ It’s been over 2 decades I’ve been in this mode,” James wrote as the description for his photo. “️ #ThekidfromAKRON #striveforgreatness ♟️ NOT….”Two moments from the game went viral, both involving James.The 38-year-old had an unbelievable 360-degree layup in the first half. James and Rockets head coach Ime Udoka were seen arguing at the conclusion of the game, and both players received technical fouls. Udoka was likewise ejected after receiving his second. After the win, the Lakers’ record in their first 21 games increased to 12-9, good for the seventh seed in the Western Conference.  They have a record of 6-4 after 10 games, and they will host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. In 20 games, James is averaging 24.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.4 steals, and a 55.1% field goal percentage and 38.3% three-point percentage.
