GSW’s most quietly devoted player, Andrew Wiggins owns a remarkable fortune

On February 23, 1995, Andrew Christian Wiggins—a professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association—was born in Canada. He was chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall choice in the 2014 NBA draught to play collegiate basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks for one year.

Born and raised in Canada, Wiggins finished his last two years of high school there. He was a McDonald’s All-American. Prior to being chosen as the second Canadian to be chosen first overall in a draft, he was awarded a unanimous second-team All-American while at Kansas. After being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the middle of the season, Wiggins was named NBA Rookie of the Year for the 2014–15 campaign. He was transferred to Golden State in 2020 after spending five and a half years with Minnesota. In 2022, Wiggins made his NBA All-Star team debut, won his first NBA championship, and was named a starter for the Western Conference.

The 6-foot-8 big man was obviously drawn to his two-story Cedar-Isles-Dean property because of its raised ceilings and indoor basketball half-court. In addition, there are about 6,000 square feet of living space, five bathrooms, a studio, a yoga room, a remodeled kitchen with a breakfast bar, and four bedrooms.
