Golden State Warriors preparing to host NBA All-Star?

Dwight Howard was invited to try out for Golden State recently. The Warriors declined to sign the former Los Angeles Lakers big man after two days of negotiations.

Just the second All-Star Weekend on Warriors’ field. The first occurrence was in 2000, when the team was in Oakland.

Unlike California, San Francisco has never hosted an All-Star event. This event last occurred in 2018, at the LA Lakers and LA Clippers’ home stadium.

Stephen Curry is likely to play in the 2025 All-Star Game, however it’s too early to determine.

Curry, 35, still plays like a league superstar. The Chef should also make one of his final appearances at this event.

The Golden State Warriors have won four NBA titles since 2015, making them the decade’s best club. The All-Star event two years from now should celebrate one of the greatest tournament dynasties.

Indianapolis, where the 2021 All-Star event was canceled due to COVID-19, will host the 2024 event.
